Cracking the Nut 2017 is seeking volunteers interested in international development and rural and agricultural development to assist at the conferenceon March 27-28, 2017 in Bangkok, Thailand at the Royal Orchid Sheraton Hotel.This year’s event will bring together over 300 representatives from private sector companies, development organizations, donors, banks, investors and government officials. Be a part of this important and timely event! Two types of volunteers are needed:
**Please note that while volunteers receive free registration for the conference days (March 27-28), this does not include hotel or any travel costs the volunteer may incur. All travel and lodging costs are the responsibility of the volunteer.
PRODUCTION VOLUNTEERS Volunteer duties can include:
Greet attendees and provide support at registration table
Guide attendees to proper meeting rooms, restrooms, lunch, etc.
Provide backroom support to speakers and note-takers, including computer issues, during sessions
Act as “runner” between meeting rooms
Be at the Royal Orchid Sheraton Hotel in Bangkok, Thailand from 7:30 am to 6 pm on Monday, March 27th and Tuesday, March 28th.
Attend a volunteer orientation in the evening of Sunday, March 26th.
Attend at least one session each day to learn about rural and agricultural development
Network with private sector and international development professionals
Free lunch each day
View exhibits from international development organizations

Photograph speakers and participants during the conference
Within 15 days of the event, provide two (2) discs of images taken during the event, including a finalized copy of edited images as well as unedited raw images
Requirements and Qualifications:
Provide your own digital camera which must be capable of taking high quality photographs
The individual we are seeking does not need to be a professional photographer but must be competent in the field.
Past experience photographing events preferred
Photo credits will be given, benefiting those seeking to expand their professional portfolio
A reference letter can be supplied upon successful completion of photography assignments
